| Q. What is The
Vet Check? |
A. The Vet
Check provides veterinary clinics with tools that allow
their clients the ability to provide feedback on services
received. Giving the consumer a means to review their
visit offers many benefits to both the clinic and the
public.
For the clinic: The ability to receive
feedback allows you to examine your business practice
from the viewpoint of the most important person, your
client. With The Vet Check you can gage how they view
your service so that you may understand what areas you
and your staff excel at, and what areas might need some
minor improvement. This allows for higher client retention
and the ability to attract new clients!
For the public: When searching clinics
on The Vet Check, you can be assured that they believe
in excellent care and superior customer service. By becoming
a member of The Vet Check, the clinics are allowing you
to openly view what their actual clients are saying about
them! This type of honestly is why people prefer to choose
a clinic on The Vet Check over any other source!

| Q. Why The Vet Check? Why not just pick up a phone book or perform an internet search? |
| A. The
number one source of veterinary referrals is from current
clients. Before people entrust the health of their loved
pet to a stranger, they want to know that the person caring
for them is well trained, offers excellent care, great
service and is trustworthy all while at a reasonable value.
Many people will ask their friends, neighbors and family
members for a referral when choosing a vet. The Vet Check
allows for actual clients to express their opinion on
the experience they had with their veterinarian. This
speaks volumes more about the clinic then you could find
in a phone book or internet listing. With The Vet Check,
their referral reaches much further and many more potential
clients then the standard word of mouth. |
|
| Q.
Why do some listings have pictures and detailed business
information while others do not? |
| A. Member
clinics get access to our client feedback service along
with the ability to personalize their profile. These clinics
tend to have a strong belief in customer satisfaction
and are always looking for ways to better serve their
clients. They are eager to let their actual clients speak
for them when it comes to the services recieved so that
you can make an informed decision when choosing your veterinary
care provider. |

| Q. How do I know
the reviews are real? |
| A. We
stand by the reviews posted on our site. We use internal
check procedures to ensure all reviews are posted by actual
clients. We flag reviews that seem suspicious and investigate
them to ensure their authenticity. If a review is false
we will then remove it and adjust the clinics score accordingly.
If a member clinic is found abusing The Vet Check review
system, they will then be removed accordingly. |
|
| Q. I had a bad experience and I want everyone to know about it, what do I do? |
| A. Post your
review! Clinics want to know when they are doing a great
job and when they need to improve. With that said, be
professional. Let them know what they did wrong and if
you would like, tell them how they could have done it
better. Do not post inappropriate comments or personal
attacks. Inappropriate reviews will be reported and removed. |
|
| Q. I had a great experience with my veterinarian and want to make sure everyone knows. What do I do? |
| A. Post
your review! We believe that it is just as important to
recognize people for great services as it is to raise
your hand when services are less then desired. Give the
good people their due! By posting a positive review, you
are letting others know that your clinic is a reputable
one and can be trusted! |
|
| Q. My clinic is not listed, what can I do? |
| A. Please
visit our "Contact" page and
submit their name and address to us in the comment section.
We will then add them to our database once we verify the
clinic. |
